Have you ever been in need of Chrisitan friendship and were grateful to hear the words, “We’ll get together soon,” but it never happened?
Do you long to build closer relationships with like-minded women, but find it challenging to truly connect on a deeper level in today’s busy world?
Perhaps you are an introvert or move frequently and find it hard to find or maintain those much needed Christian friendship connections.
We’re Made with Hearts Longing for Christian Friendship
God made us to be in community. And though we often communicate with people more than ever with all of the messaging and social media available through technology, the personal and spiritual intimacy we really need in Christian friendship can be difficult to build.
Many relationships stay on a superficial level, or maybe even start off strong, then dwindle back to occasional check-ins or just a memory.
Even at church and Christian events, we may find ourselves standing on the outside looking in while the groups already connected to each other chat and hug, make plans, and relive memories.
As a guest contributor on the Butterfly Living Blog, in my article 4 Steps to Nurture Christian Friendship by Growing in God’s Love, I share…
- My personal experience of obstacles to building new and deeper connections
- Insights into God’s purposes for Christian friendship in our lives
- Steps you can take to nurture friendships to help prevent loneliness in your life and for others
It’s important to recognize and address the challenges to building deeper connections with others. We can be lonely though we are surrounded by many, even at church and in our community.
And for me they were amplified as an introvert and because of frequent relocation. But if we are intentional to let the Spirit lead us, God’s love can flow through us to change our lives and the lives of other women in need of Christian friendship. You can read the full article here.
A Safe and Sacred Space to Grow Purposeful Friendships
I’m passionate about women of faith doing life together. I believe that every woman should know her value and know she’s not alone. And I believe women should uplift one another to reach their full potential of God’s extraordinary vision for their life.
I felt led to start a community where women can walk together as they walk with God to step into all that God is calling them to become and fulfill.
If you want to connect with like-minded women who are focused on fulfilling God’s purposes both in their daily life as well as in their unique calling, I invite you to join the Christian Woman Life Purpose Community Facebook Group to cultivate clarity, confidence and community while walking with others on your path of purpose.
