You may wake up every day feeling like you don’t know what to do that will ignite your passion or bring new meaning into your life. Maybe you’ve tried out new hobbies, volunteer work, getting more involved in the church, joining some interest groups or even starting a new business. But nothing seems to fill that feeling of being lost and not knowing how to best spend your time in this season of life.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. ~Ephesians 2:10 NIV

God designed you specially with specific purpose in mind. Your personality, appearance, mannerisms, strengths, spiritual gifts, natural talents and abilities, passions and everything about you was hand shaped by your Creator in preparation for the work that He has a calling on your life to fulfill. There are many benefits to knowing your purpose in life which all contribute to you having an increased level of fulfillment in life as you become and fulfill what you were made for.

One of the Clear Benefits of Knowing Your Purpose in Life

One of the benefits of knowing your purpose in life that God specifically designed you for is that it will help to alleviate those feelings of confusion and lack of direction. Investing time in prayer, reflection, resources and self-assessment can start to reveal your purpose. In my latest vlog, I explain one of the most important benefits of knowing your purpose in life that will lay the foundation for the choices you make and opportunities you take or create in your life.

Pursuing your purpose and walking in it is one of the most important priorities you can do in your life. It will not only align you with the vision God has for your life to contribute to the world around you, but will also change your personal life from the inside out. Christian Coaching Reflections:

  1. What difference would it make in your life to be clear on your purpose?
  2. What decisions do you have to make that knowing what God is calling you to do would make a difference in your path?
  3. What might you be doing only because you feel like you “should”, but rather be doing something that really matters?
